This is by far my favorite blog post thus far! I love it, it is original and cute. Most blog posts, including my own, are about the project we are currently working on or maybe some type of advertisement we noticed. This blog post is completely different and that’s why I enjoy it so much. It is a fun post that we can all relate to. It definitely put a smile on my face. I like the size of the pictures I think it works perfectly for the layout you chose. The pictures are the things that are telling the story in my eyes. Even if I just scrolled through the page, without reading the text, I would be able to understand your post. The text is small, which I like for this post because as I said the images are giving meaning to the post. My favorite picture is the one of inDesign and Illustrator boxing each other. At first I did not even read the text and I knew it was pertaining to the confusion many students have had throughout the semester about which programs we use for exercises and projects. I would have to say my favorite guideline, that I need to follow more often, is walk away from your work when you make mistakes. When I make mistakes I tend to get frustrated and nothing good ever comes from that. So I should take a mini break or maybe even save my work at the point I am at and start over on a new document to see where that takes me. Great job on your post!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this blog post!! In my opinion it deserves full credit, and there's hardly any words. The entire post is fun to look at and is extremely creative. You've really made your blog into your own piece of art, and I think that's something that everyone should take note of. It looks amazing. It definitlely resembles you and I think that's really important. I'm finally learning the art of blogging. It not this forced text that everyone felt obligated to complete in the beginning of the semester. It can be as fun as you make it. There's so much freedom in blogging, and I think we've taken it a little bit for granted. I can't think of another assignment in any class that has so much importance in our grade that also grants us the chance to show our creativity, express our thoughts, and really just gives us a chance to talk about ourselves and the way we feel. Who doesn't love to talk about themselves? It's so easy to learn from others here and bounce ideas off one another, all in a really positive environment. This blog post has inspired me to look at blogspot as a creative channel of opportunity and freedom, rather than a mandatory writing assignment. Thank you Erin for posting this, I think it's great.
